Tony's Verdict: Hugely popular central defender who excels at heading, though is accident prone with a tendency towards clumsy challenges. Usually the "offender" when a penalty is given. Nicknamed "Plug" by his team-mates, and "Banana-man" by elements of the Pontoon for his unerring ability to slice clearances/passes in to the Lower Stones Stand. Joined Bristol City in July 2000 on a "Bosman".
