A Time for Optimism

IN our "You Have Your Say" series Niel Horsewood outlined his hopes for more goals. Today Martin Walmsley and Matthew Winn give their opinions on the future and the club management. This segment provides an opportunity for fans to voice their opinions.

I have to say this is the first season for some time in the 1st division where I actually am feeling really positive about the new season!

Last season we were largely awful up to March (with a few exceptions) but around that time I thought the team started to understand LL's system and ideas, and we were as good as almost anyone until the end of the season.

I previously had a season ticket at BP for about 20 years, but am now living in exile (London) but still managed to see the boys about 15 times in 2000/01. I work with fans of Palace, Millwall and also a Man City supporter, and have had a £10 bet that my team finishes ahead of theirs. What do you think of my chances?

I think with the godlike Livvo up front with a goal scorer, whether it be Super brad or Jevons, and Campbell (who was brilliant last season), the best goalie in the division (bar none), we have a good chance of flirting with the play-off's.
