Lawrence to Crack Norse Code

BOTH Arne Vidar Moen (29) and Stian Thomassen (24) could be Grimsby players before the new season kicks off. Lennie Lawrence identified the two defenders in the press this week and will travel to Åråsen stadium on Sunday to watch Tippeliga leaders Lillestrøm at home to bottom team Strømsgodset.
Meanwhile Ham/Kam have allowed Thomassen to take part in Grimsby's pre-season matches in Sweden this weekend. But Lennie want rush into any decisions. "I'm going to Norway on Sunday to watch a player, and the Swedish lad (Ed: do we mean the Norwegian Thomassen?) will play in the Monday night game. The centre-back thing is not going to be solved today or tomorrow," said Lennie.
