Jack Lester | 1994/95-1999/00 | 100 (42) | 19 goals |
Given his full debut by Laws in 1994, 'Super Jack' did not show his true potential until given his bow under Kenny Swain in the relegation season of 1997-98. Lester was instrumental in Town's Wembley success and maintaining our 1st division status.
He was then sold on the cheap to Forest for a measly £300,000 at a time when the board forced Buckley to sell his top players. Renowned for his shirt pulling abilities, diving and fooling every ref in the land, Jack the lad was a firm Town favourite and in the eyes of many, has never been replaced.
