Question of the Week

Who will win League 2?

Injury List 24/08/2001

By: Peter Forrester
Date: 24/08/2001

WITH the season well and truly under way and Town doing well with limited resources how long is it before certain key players return to the front line? Here is the Injury List for this week:

David Smith -"Smudge" is still battling against a niggling calf injury and is expected to be in the physio room for at least another week. Lennie Lawrence has compensated for Smith's injury by bringing in ex-Man Utd YT left winger Michael Boulding on a month's trial.

Paul Raven - The ex-Baggie is battling with an ankle injury which he sustained in the pre-season battle at Glanford Park. The centre back could be out for another fortnight which is not good news for the gaffer who needs as many of his short supply of central defenders to be fit as possible

Stacey Coldicott - the tough tackling midfielder was the recipient of a hamstring injury and is out for two weeks. When he returns Pouton and Coldicott will be a force to be reckoned with in the midfield battle.

Wayne Burnett - The ex-Terrier has begun training again after being absent with a rib injury

Steve Livingstone - One of the fans' favourites is in the wars with back and rib injuries. The good news is he is back in training and getting fit again. The bad news is he will be out for at least another month.

Bradley Allen - Buckley-signing Allen has been absent for some time but returned to his team mates for training this week. It is unclear as to when his return will be after suffering groin problems.
