ALAN POUTON and Jonathan Rowan will miss today's trip to Arsenal having failed to recover in time from their injuries sustained in Friday's clash with Burnley.

Michael Boulding, however, will undergo a late test to see if his hip problem has cleared up sufficiently to play. Boulding is likely to play some part in the match, with Lennie Lawrence prepared to gamble the former Mansfield winger/striker, who has scored four goals this season, even if Boulding is not 100% fit. "Michael is an outlet for us on the left and even if he's not fully fit I might decide to have him on the bench because we might get 20 minutes out of him." said Lawrence.

Elsewhere Phil Jevons will resume his partnership with Bradley Allen, with Rowan missing out through injury, and Tony Gallimore is suspended. Ben Chapman is expected to continue to deputise at left black for the Town vice captain. Centre back Marlon Broomes will continue to retain his place in the team despite carrying a knee injury.

Dutch 'keeper Ronald Ermes will be named as a substitute, because the normal number two at Grimsby, Steve Croudson, is cup-tied after playing for Scunthorpe in an earlier round.

Arsenal's squad includes a sprinkling of well known internationals and unestablished youngsters - some of whom will be making their debut for the Gunners.

Grimsby (probable): Coyne, Neilson, Chapman, Groves, Broomes, Butterfield, Coldicott, Willems, Campbell, Jevons, Allen.
Subs: Burnett, Jeffrey, Raven, Coldicott Ermes

Arsenal (from) Stuart Taylor, Graham Stack, John Halls, Martin Keown, Stathis Tavlaridis, Giovanni Van Bronckhorst, Juan, Jermaine Pennant, Igors Stepanovs, Junichi Inamoto, Edu, Sebastian Svard, Sylvain Wiltord, Kanu, Dennis Bergkamp, Jeremie Aliadiere.
