Groves Captures Cooke!!

TERRY Cooke came over to Grimsby, accompanied by his agent today and signed a contract with the Mariners and started training with the squad.

Mariners Net reports Paul Groves as saying: "We have already seen enough of Terry to know how capable he is, and we are delighted that he has agreed to come to Blundell Park. He has the pedigree and class that we need for success in Division One."

26 years old, 5 feet 7 tall and weighs 10 st 8 Cooke played for Manchester United as well as City, with loans to at Sunderland, Birmingham City, Wrexham, Wigan and Sheffield Wednesday as well as Grimsby and played for England at youth and under-21 level.
