The Fishy - Grimsby Town FC

Question of the Week

Is football a business or a sport?

Wonderful, Wonderful Copenhagen!

GRIMSBY Town began their pre-season tour of Scandinavia in unconvincing fashion, going down 0-4 to AB Copenhagen in the Danish capital. A brace by former Swedish international Lars Larsen put the Danes into a commanding lead, before two goals in the final ten minutes saw AB record a flattering win.

A total of nineteen players wore the Grimsby jersey on the night, with Paul Groves making eight second half substitutions to give all his players some match time.

Town resume the aptly named Costcutter Tour on Saturday with a fixture against Herforge BK (4pm).

Grimsby Town: Coyne (Hughes 76), McDermott (Ward 69), Groves, Raven (Ford 73), Gallimore, Cooke (Thompson 76), Pouton (Bolder 73), Coldicott (Luntala 60), Campbell (Downes 46), Jevons, Livingstone (Rowan 69).
