We regularly need new Cod Heads, so would appreciate contributions from lifelong supporters of the Mariners. This week's Cod Head is Kristine Fitzjohn.

Fishy:
Tell us a bit about yourself?

Kristine:
My name is Kristine Fitzjohn and I am nearly 18 and have supported Town for over 10 years.

Fishy:
When did you first start supporting the Mariners, and what was your first game?

Kristine:
I started supporting Town when I was 8. I can't remember the first match that I went to but the first one I do remember going to was V Sheffield United at BP we lost 4-2. It was on TV and I can't even remember what year it was!

Fishy:
Who is the best player you ever saw wearing a Grimsby Town shirt?

Kristine:
For me it has to be Clive Mendonca he left BP was it 5 years ago and we still haven't replaced him.

Fishy:
If there is one game you were allowed to go back in time and watch what would it be and why?

Kristine:
That would have to be the 2-1 win against Preston in the 00-01 season at Deepdale. The atmosphere was brilliant and it was right near Xmas so everyone was in the party mood.

Fishy:
What are your favourite and least favourite away grounds?

Kristine:
My favourite has to be St Andrews because of the atmosphere, but the Hawthorns is a close second as we never seem to loose there!
The worst has to be Craven Cottage for the facilities and because every time I go it's freezing. Scunny's is pretty bad too because it takes forever to get out of the car parks.

Fishy:
What, in your opinion, are GTFC's best and worst seasons since you have been supporting them?

Kristine:
The best season has to be the promotion season because of the fact that we were promoted. The worst has to be last season because of the amount of matches that seemed to have no commitment from the players.

Fishy:
What is the most eventful day you have ever had in the course of following the Mariners?

Kristine:
That would have to be at Wolves last season when we won 1-0. They were threatening all sorts and one of my friends got a slap for his trouble. (I have lived a very sheltered life so far!)

Fishy:
Who is the greatest ever GTFC manager?

Kristine:
Unfortunately I would have to say Alan Buckley, although he was very stubborn when it came to needing a change of tactics.

Fishy:
How many games a season do you get to now, and what do you do while Town are playing games that you can't get to?

Kristine:
I go to every single game home and away. (That's 52 in all last season I think?). I am always at the games so there is nothing else I can do.

Fishy:
Name your all-time starting eleven since you have been watching Town?

Kristine:

Fishy:
If you have any, do your children support the Mariners?

Kristine:
No kids thank god.
