Question of the Week

Where will Grimsby be next season?

Rest For Boulding

By: Richard Lord
Date: 24/04/2003

ITappears that Michael Boulding will not be featuring for Grimsby Town again this season, reports Mariners Net. With Town already relegated, the management team see no reason why Quick Mick should be risked.

Boulding has hit four goals since his return from Aston Villa in January but has been plagued with an ankle injury, which has prevented him from regaining some of last seasons' form.

With the Mariners already relegated and rest being the only cure for Quick Mick's troublesome ankle, it could see any one of Rowan, Soames or Thompson being given another chance to shine before the seasons' end.

Boulding has never been fully fit since his return to Blundell Park, but complete rest during the close season may enable him to cure the ankle injury in time for next season in Division Two.

However, Groves may chose to go with the Livingstone / Mansaram partnership, which has yielded six goals between them this season.
