Town Sign Striker

By: Bill Osborne

THE Mariners have signed striker Lee Thorpe from Leyton Orient on a one months loan deal. Previously with Lincoln before joining Orient he was leading scorer last season but seems to get a few bookings.

Orient have informed him he will not be getting a new contract for next season so he is on the market and if he shows promise with the Mariners who knows what may happen. It was only a shortage of cash that made Lincoln agree to him leaving them.
