March Player of the Month

MARCH was a fruitless month for Grimsby, with the Mariners failing to record a single win under new boss Nicky Law, and ending the month in the relegation zone.

So here are the six nominations for March:

Craig Armstrong
	On loan midfielder from Sheffield Wednesday, who has been asked in the main to play out of position in defence. His loan spell has now been extended until the end of the season.	Craig Armstrong Profile
Mickael Antoine-Curier
	Gangly striker released by Notts County whose unothodox style can trouble opposition defences by the sheer fact of its unpredictability.	Mickael Antoine-Curier Profile
Mike Edwards
	The former Hull defender is considered by many Town fans to have been unlucky to be dropped in quite a few recent games, but consistently picks up enough man of the match awards to make the shortlist every month.	Mike Edwards Profile
Lee Thorpe

Phil Jevons
	In the final season of his contract with Grimsby, the Mariners will do well to hang onto the former Evertonian, who has spent most of the season playing on the left wing.	Phil Jevons Profile
Greg Young
	Has never had a settled spell in the side, and has freqently been played out of position at left back. Looks best when he plays in central defence, and still only 20, could well be a future first team regular.	Greg Young Profile
