Another Three Released

SIMON Ford, goalkeeper Andy Pettinger and striker Liam Nimmo have all been released by the Mariners after their contracts came to an end. The trio join Wes Parker, Chris Bolder and Iain Ward in looking for a new club, all of whom were released last week.
Ford is the most surprising of the group to be released, having been a first team regular when fit, and a Town "veteran", having been at the club since Lennie Lawrence signed him in 2001, after the Londoner had been released by Charlton.
With Town hoping to announce their new manager shortly, the decisions to release the players have been made by the board, in consultation with assistant manager Graham Rodger.
