YOUNG Player of the Year Graham Hockless has been given an improved contract offer at Blundell Park after the 21-year-old turned down an initial deal, prior to Russell Slade arriving at the club.
After speaking with the Hull-born midfielder and his agent Slade told Mariners Net: "I've spoken with Graham. Things are moving along and he is thinking things over. Hopefully there will be some news soon,"
Meanwhile Slade has confirmed that Aldershot striker Tim Sills is a definite target of his, but denied any interest in out of contract Boro forward Mark Quayle, who is moving to an unknown Football League club. Speaking of Tim Sills, who is out of contract at Recreation Park, the Town boss said: "He is a goal scorer. He is a player that I would be interested in."
