Davison Joins U's

LAST season's first choice 'keeper Aidan Davison has signed for League One side Colchester United after negotiating a release from his contract at Blundell Park. The 36-year-old veteran will also have a coaching role at Layer Road.
Town's only 'keepers currently are youngster Paul Fraser, who has just turned professional, and former Hartlepool shot stopper Anthony Williams, who is on trial at the club but has not yet signed any contract with Town.
Former Tottenham striker Yannick Kamanan is the latest French trialist at Blundell Park. The 21-year-old spent three year years at White Hart Lane, departing in 2002, and has most recently been playing for French outfit Strasbourg. He joins compatriots Gilles Noto, Denis D'Amico and Jean-Gabin Moubeke in pre-season training with the Mariners.
