We regularly need new Cod Heads, so would appreciate contributions from lifelong supporters of the Mariners. This week's Cod Head is Claire Carlile.

Fishy:
Tell us a bit about yourself.

Claire:
Well I'm Claire and I am 20. I'm into Winnie the Pooh, Iron Maiden, football...etc...

Fishy:
When did you first start supporting the Mariners, and what was your first game?

Claire:
I first started supporting The Mariners when I was 11, but I didn't go to my first match till I was 14, when it was Division 2 Play-Off.

Fishy:
Who is the best player you ever saw wearing a Grimsby Town shirt?

Claire:
Wayne Burnett.

Fishy:
If there is one game you were allowed to go back in time and watch what would it be and why?

Claire:
The Division 2 Play-Off at Wembley

Fishy:
What are your favourite and least favourite away grounds?

Claire:
My fave would have to be Oldham and my least would be Scunnie's (like a sardine tin).

Fishy:
What, in your opinion, are GTFC's best and worst seasons since you have been supporting them?

Claire:
Last season and the one before.

Fishy:
What is the most eventful day you have ever had in the course of following the Mariners?

Claire:
When I met Peter Handyside

Fishy:
What is the strangest thing you have ever done at a game?

Claire:
I'm never going to live this one down but ahh well. One match I was at I nearly walked in the men's loos as it was my first time in the John Smith's stand.

Fishy:
Who is the greatest ever GTFC manager?

Claire:
Alan Buckley, people might disagree.

Fishy:
How many games a season do you get to now, and what do you do while Town are playing games that you can't get to?

Claire:
Not very often since I fell ill.

Fishy:
Name your all-time starting eleven since you have been watching Town?

Claire:
All the Wembley '98 line up.

Fishy:
What's the best-ever atmosphere you remember at a home and away game?

Claire:
There's two I can remember. One was at a home game, us vs wolves. They called our goalie so we thought right we're having none of this!! So we started on their goalie. Five minutes later the pitch was rimmed with bright orange. the stewards came out and covered the outside of the pitch.
The second was at Oldham, who in the right mind would sit some of the home fans with the away fans? duuuuuuuh!!!!! lol

Fishy:
If you have any, do your children support the Mariners?

Claire:
Nope but when I do they will be brought up to respect the team
