NATIONWIDE North club Hinckley United have signed Jermaine Palmer from Grimsby Town on a month-long loan. The 20-year-old striker is the son of assistant boss Charlie, and is expected to add a new dimension to the Knitters' game.

Manager Dean Thomas said: "The lad is only 19 and over six foot tall. He has been out at Scarborough and York this season. He's big, aggressive and can hold the ball up."

Palmer has also had loan spells at Scarborough and York City in recent months.
