ANDY Parkinson was forced to miss training today after a tackle by Chris Hackett which required him to leave the field for treatment and for which Hackett got a red card.
Parkinson however, thinks will be OK to play in next Tuesday's game against Rochdale telling Mariners Net; "I've got a slightly swollen ankle and foot but it's just a kick and it should be okay."
Parky also said he thought the ref made the right decision in sending Hackett off.
"I believe it was. He did get something on the ball but it was a two-footed lunge tackle. It was a high tackle and I've got the bruises to prove it."
