Kalala Watch (Part 3)

AFTER the 0-0 draw with Angola last Wednesday, DR Congo lost 2-0 to Cameroon today but, by the virtue of goal difference, have finished second in Group B. The Simbas now play the host nation Egypt on Friday in Cairo Stadium.

Congo had Gladys Boseke red-carded in the second half for a stamp on Achille Webo. It was the second straight red card in two matches for the DR Congo, after Tresor Mputu was sent off against Angola for kicking out at an opponent.

So Grimsby Town will have to do with out Jean Paul Kamumdimba Kalala for another week or so while the DR Congo carry on their campaign in the African Cup of Nations

So far JPK has been on the bench for all three group games but has yet to see any action.
