Beat the Bookies: Week 33

LINCOLN always win at the moment don't they? They did until I backed them to beat Rushden at home. In fact, but for a last minute equaliser they would have lost.

This weekend Bury are the visitors to Blundell Park, in a game which Grimsby really must win again. bet365.com offer a measly 1/2 for Town to triumph, which their home hardly suggests represents any sort of value. The Lancashire outfit are ranked 5/1 to cause an upset, which is moderately tempting.
Elsewhere in League Two in-form Carlisle are 5/4 with bet365.com to win at Darlington in their closest thing to a local derby. Rejuvenated Rushden are cracking odds to beat Leyton Orient at home. bet365.com go 9/5 for a home win, where Rushden have been strong recently. Orient, like most of the top teams, have been dropping points of late.
In the Premiership Man City's form has dipped of late, but the bookies still fancy them to beat Wigan at home. I don't, especially after a big FA Cup match in mid-week and like the look of bet365.com's 11/4 for a Trotters' win, who will be gunning for a UEFA Cup spot.
RECOMMENDED BET OF THE WEEK: Rushden to beat Leyton Orient |
