Beat the Bookies: Week 32

WREXHAM'S win at Barnet ensured another bumper weekend for Beat the Bookies, extending the total winnings for the season to give a return of around 20% for the amount of money invested so far - a similar figure to last year's final return.

This weekend Grimsby travel to Hereford with the bookies making the Bulls firm favourites to win the match at 11/10. Town are a respectable 11/5 to triumph at Edgar Street, a ground Grimsby last visited in 1989. Hereford though are fairly strong at home, and the bookies sound to have got their odds about right.
This season has seen several teams in League Two suddenly go on long winning runs and long losing runs, Grimsby having themselves already experienced both in 2007 alone. Stockport have won an unbelievable nine consecutive games and face Barnet who have only won twice in ten. Surprisingly Stockport are odds against to win at Underhill with the bookies offering 23/20 for what looks on paper like a likely County win.
The anti-thesis of Stockport at the moment are Bury, who are dropping down the table like a stone having lost five consecutive games without scoring a goal (sound familiar?). Bury face an improving Wrexham side at the Racecourse Ground, with the bookies offering a tempting Evens for a Wrexham win.
