Proudlock Joins Grimsby

DARLINGTON Striker Adam Proudlock has joined Grimsby Town on loan for two months with a view to a permanent deal when the transfer window opens in January. Proudlock is eligible to play in Saturday's FA Cup match against Morecambe.
The 27-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at high-flying Darlington who are blessed with strikers, but has a lot of experience at this level with his former club Stockport, who released him in the summer following their promotion to League One. Prior to joining Stockport the six footer spent three years at Sheffield Wednesday, and three years at Wolves prior to that.
Proudlock has played three times for Stockport against Grimsby in League Two, but never scored against us.
Grim Rob Says Proudlock looks just what the doctor ordered. He's never been a prolific striker but we have been lacking a tall front player all season with Jones and Butler no longer at the club.
