DONCASTER midfielder Stuart Elliott has had his loan deal extended for another month, under the league's "emergency loan" rules. Elliott, who scored in the win over Rotherham, is a hard-working midfielder, and has been ever present since his arrival last month at Blundell Park.
Elliott's current deal was due to expire after Saturday's clash with Exeter.
Town boss Mike Newell told Mariners Net: "Stuart and the other loan players have given us something different. I don't think we've seen the best from him yet.
"He will get fitter with first-team games, and he has always got a goal in him."
Grimsby's next game is an Saturday against Exeter at Blundell Park, weather of course permitting.
