Beat the Bookies: Week 6

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 02/09/2010 (Last updated: 20/11/2010)

HANDS up those of you who thought Morecambe were going to beat Gillingham with ten minutes to go last Saturday? Sadly they didn't, and Gateshead didn't cause an upset at Darlo so it meant another losing weak for Beat the Bookies. We will bounce back.

Home > 2010-2011 Season > Beat the Bookies > Week 6

  • Chesterfield v Lincoln. Lincoln showed at Gillingham they can win on the road, and this is a local derby to boot so there's plenty to play for. City are 4/1 to come away with the points. Selection: Lincoln

  • Eastbourne Boro v Darlington. Eastbourne have been good at home and this is such a long trip for Darlo, who have been very patchy, that you have to fancy the home side at 8/5. Selection: Eastbourne Boro

  • Kettering v AFC Wimbledon. Wimbledon look overpriced at 6/5 and all the value lies in the home side at 2/1. Selection: Kettering

  • Southend v Torquay. Both sides have started well but Southend is a tricky place to go to and 2/1 looks a decent price for a home win. Selection: Southend

  • Oxford v Morecambe. Oxford should easily win this. They have a good home record. Selection: Oxford

    Recommended Fixed Odds Bets

    • 1. Kettering to beat AFC Wimbledon. . (2/1, Bet365)
