Grimsby v Hayes Team News

Date: 09/09/2011

TOWN have no new injuries for the Blundell Park clash with Hayes and Yeading on Saturday, but the defensive trio of Lee Ridley (hamstring), Scott Garner (knee) and Gary Silk (knee) are all still sidelined. Town are therefore likely to field close to the same side which won at Forest Green on Saturday.

The main decision which faces the management duo is whether to play 4-4-2 with two wide players, or revert to the 4-3-3 formation which failed to yield many points in the first half dozen games. It's probably more likely that Town will stick to what worked last time and continue playing 4-4-2.

One player who won't make the bench is young striker Sam Mulready who has gone on loan to North Ferriby.

Hayes and Yeading cannot be treated lightly, for no other reason than they won this fixture last season. The West London outfit are yet to pick up a point on their travels this season, but they have done well at "home" (they have started the season playing home games in Surrey at Woking) where they have won three times.
