Fleetwood v Grimsby Team News

GRIMSBY are in the unusual position of playing a league match tonight in which they are complete underdogs. Town head to leaders Fleetwood hoping to avoid the Lancashire side doing the double over Grimsby and ending the Mariners' long unbeaten run in the league which stretches back to October.

Anthony Elding returns from his controversial suspension which Town have failed to win either game of in his absence. Elding is the most likely change in a straight swap for Duffy. Frankie Artus (knee) is unlikely to be rushed back so Soares will continue in his wide left role.

Fleetwood beat Town at Blundell Park on the first game of the season, but Town have improved considerably since the opening weeks of the season.

Fleetwood have a full squad to pick from. Danny Rose had a day off at Tamworth on Saturday, after his midweek England C appearance, but the midfielder is almost certain to return
