Grimsby v Southport Team News

TOWN go into the last game on the season at home to Southport looking to end on a high. With no meaningful football until August it will be the last chance to put a smile on the faces of supporters and leave them looking for more of the same next season.

Grimsby will have to make do without regular right winger Michael Coulson, who has finally departed the club along with out of contract Scott Garner and Rob Duffy.

Other than that Town have a full squad to pick from, and expect to play a similar side and formation to that deployed in the 0-0 draw at Telford.

Southport have been one of the surprise packages of the season and whatever the result have had one of the best seasons in their history, narrowly missing out on the play-offs.
