Grimsby v Nuneaton Team News

STRIKER Liam Hearn (calf) is a possible starter against Nuneaton on Saturday, when the Mariners will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing opening two games.

Hearn came on as a sub in the defeat to Stockport in midweek and had no reaction to the calf/achilles injury which has limited his involvement since pre-season.

The fact that striker Greg Pearson has a slight groin injury makes a start for Hearn that bit more likely. If he does start it will also provide a psychological boost for Town to have their best known player back amongst their ranks.

Defender Ian Miller is still absent due to his wife's prolonged pregnancy.

Town's opponents Nuneaton are still without a point this campaign, and have conceded nine goals in their first two games (their 'keeper was also Man of the Match in the 4-0 defeat at Newport in midweek).
