Where will Grimsby finish?

Braintree v Grimsby Team News

GRIMSBY head to Braintree on Saturday with a play-off berth secure, but Town need to win to ensure they finish in third place and have the advantage of playing the deciding second leg in front of their own supporters.

Paul Hurst will probably choose to rest one or two players for the play-offs. Shaun Pearson, on 14 yellow cards for the season, is one booking off a suspension, so is the most likely player to be rested for the match with Braintree. Pearson was rested for this reason in the previous game against Hyde.

Connor Jennings (foot) is definitely out. Alex Rodman (knee) and Craig Disley (back) have been training this week but may not be 100% fit and could potentially not be risked.

Braintree need to win and hope that Gateshead lose in order to get in the play-offs.
