Gateshead v Grimsby Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 04/05/2014

THE whole season comes to a climax today in a match which Grimsby must win (if necessary on penalties) in order to progress to the final stage of a Wembley play-off final.

PAUL Hurst has a full squad to pick from for the second game with Gateshead, minus striker Connor Jennings (foot) who looks unlikely to be involved until Wembley - should Town get there, and centre back Shaun Pearson who is suspended and will also miss the rest of the season. It's likely that Hurst will make just one change - Chris Doig or Clayton MacDonald in place of Pearson.

Gateshead's only change could be midfielder Jamie Chandler who missed the first game through illness.

The match is pay on the day for supporters without a ticket.
