Nuneaton v Grimsby Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 23/01/2015

SCOTT Neilson (ankle) could return for Saturday's trip to Nuneaton, a game which Grimsby need to win to capitalise on their defeat of Barnet last weekend. Lenell John-Lewis (face) and Nathan Arnold (illness) have both returned to training so should also be in contention.

Aswad Thomas (gardening leave) is the only player unavailable to Paul Hurst.

Hopefully those players who has to play for 120 minutes against Gateshead in the midweek FA Trophy replay won't experience any aftereffects on the marathon game and long trip to Tyneside

Nuneaton are something of a bogey team for Grimsby as Town have only beaten them once in five league games. However Grimsby did comfortably win an away game in the FA Trophy at Nuneaton last month. Boro have no new injuries for this game, although they have made three new signings in January, and this will be their second game. Holding midfielder Gus Mafuta (on loan from Bristol City), ex-Livingston winger Rob Ogleby and former Stoke striker Jack Nardiello have all boosted Nuneaton's squad as they bid to pull away from the relegation zone.
