Defender Signs

FULL back Richard Tait has joined Grimsby from Cambridge United in a one year deal. The 25-year-old left Cambridge United in the summer after two years with the U's which saw the defender do the non-league FA Trophy/promotion "double" in 2013-14.
Scottish-born Tait played Youth football for Forest and has had lengthy spells at just two clubs: Tamworth and Cambridge. The full back played 36 games for Cambridge last season in League Two, but was released at the end of the season.
Tait is the fifth new signing of the summer so far.
