Pre-Season Update

GRIMSBY have experienced a win, a draw and a loss in their last three pre-friendly games. The Mariners beat Alfreton, drew away at Boston and then lost to Sheffield United at Blundell Park.

New signing Kayden Jackson, on a season-long deal from Barnsley, made his first appearance in a Grimsby shirt in the game against the Blades. Summerfield scored Town's goal and United's Billy Sharp, once of Scunthorpe, scored a brace.

Town have two remaining pre-season games left: a match at Gainsborough on 27th August before the final game at Blundell Park against League One side Oldham.
