YOUNG former Leyton Orient defender Myles Judd has signed for Grimsby Town on a 1 year deal.

Eighteen year old right back Judd broke into the Leyton Orient side in November last year, and performed consistently - being recognised by some as an undervalued member of the squad.

Judd recently won the League Football Education (LFE) Apprentice of the Year for League Two. He is a very modest, hard-working individual, however is very aware of his ability and potential.

Following Judd's award, Leyton Orient Academy Manager, Miguel de Souza, told LFE:

?He?s done fantastically well in a difficult season and is a pleasure to work with.

?He?s very professional. He turns up on a day-to-day basis and fulfils all his other responsibilities before he goes out and trains. He always gives his best in everything he does and has become a role model for the other young players to look up to.

Myles Judd will be a good young character to have in the Town dressing room, and can learn from the experience of Ben Davies and Danny Collins in the Grimsby defensive line.
