Town Draw Forest in Cup

GRIMSBY face Nottingham Forest at home in Round 2 of the EFL Cup on 23rd or 24th August. The Mariners are rewarded with a Premier League side at home as a reward for their 4-0 win over Crewe in Round 1 last night.
The Mariners haven't played Forest for 20 years when the two teams competed in the Championship (then called Division 1), Town's final season at that level. The two sides have never met in this competition, which Forest have won four times.
The match is bound to generate plenty of interest and could be selected for television.
