A fantastic result from the team. After 5 mins it was going to be the biggest thrashing we have ever had. Fortunately for us they only scored 1. They had loads of chances to score more. We got a goal and they seem to get worried that we could score goals. To lose to a last minute goal was sickening. We had 2 great chances to take the lead 10 mins from time. Ascroft lacked pace to finish a move that was brilliant and Lester couldn't get on to a ball that could only go in the net. We ground out what should have been a draw, we deserved that at least. Man City had all the skill and Town had a little skill and got in their way. I was proud to be a Town fan after the way the lads stuck with it. |
