Steve Livingstone Returns To Action Today

By: Bill Osborne
Date: 03/12/2001

STEVE LIVINGSTONE will make his return to action today when the reserves take on Shrewsbury at Blundell Park. He has not featured at all this season having damaged a calf muscle in pre-season.

But Livvo was hoping to take to the field against The Shrews saying: "It will be nice to be involved again after so long out. I don't know how long I'll get but hopefully it will be longer than just a 20 minute run-out."

  • Lennie Lawrence is looking to sign Blackburn central defender Marlon Broomes in a permanent deal, after he completes three months on loan at Blundell Park after Friday's Wolves game. The Town boss told Radio Humberside: "I need to get Marlon sorted out. I'm hoping to do something permanent."
