GRIMSBY Town have confirmed their first pre-season friendly game against Hull City (Friday July 26th, kick-off 7:45pm).
The fixture will see the Mariners travel over the Humber to Boothferry Park for the final time, with the Tigers due to move into their new Super Stadium in November.
It will be Town's first game against Third Division City for four years. The last time the two sides met was in the 1997-1998 Auto Windscreens Shield when Town won 1-0 at Blundell Park on the way to their first victorious Wembley appearance against Bournemouth. The two teams have not been in the same division since 1986-1987 when they were both in the (old) Second Division.
