Is football a business or a sport?

Hands Off!

LAST season's top scorer Mick Boulding has revealed to the Sports Telegraph that he will be staying at Blundell Park until another club make an approach to the Sheffield-born striker.

If no club try to lure the popular striker away from Grimsby, then the 25-year old said he would be happy to stay: "The money that they offered me was fine. It wasn't anything to do with that." said Boulding.

Bradford were a side who showed interest in the 11-goal striker, but Boulding added: "I wouldn't go to a club like Bradford anyway. I'd only go to a bigger club. I don't want to take a sidestep, I want to further my career.

"I'm in no desperate rush. There's a long time to sort things out. I just want to watch the World Cup - I can't wait for that to start!" Middlesborough are one Premiership club keeping tabs on Quick Mick, but until anything is officially offered to Boulding, the pace-ace will be staying put.

Since Bradford have been put into administration, it leaves Nicky Law's side in no position to offer contracts to players at this time. This could mean Simon Ford putting pen to paper on the two-year deal he has been offered.
