No Way, José!

DESPITE positive talks' between Chairman Peter Furneaux and the management team at Blundell Park, it appears that the majority of players will refuse to renegotiate their current contracts.
Furneaux had previously stated that the club must cut its annual wage bill of £3m by half to avoid going into administration, but it looks as though the 14 under-contract players are refusing to accept lower terms.
However, the situation at Bradford City, where the club has sacked 16 players, could influence the on-going saga at Blundell Park. The Town players, who don't have to accept the renegotiation of their contracts, should take a long look at the current affairs at Valley Parade.
It could mean the difference between accepting up to a 50% pay-cut in their contracts or face joining a host of other hundreds of footballers on the free transfer list.
