Bought from Leicester by Dave booth for a record transfer fee at the time of £125,000, Peake went on to marshal our midfield then had to be sold because we couldn't pay him a bonus that was due at the time.
Middlesboro came in for him then he retired when Bryan Robson was appointed as their manager. He is now pounding the beat in Leicestershire as a policeman.
