Wear Your Shirt At Work!

GRIMSBY Town Football Club and St Andrew's Hospice are getting together to raise money for the Hospice. The two organisations are looking for fans to "Wear your Grimsby Town shirt at work!" and raise money through sponsorship in a great fun day!

Friday 28th March will be the day when the area will be all black and white as the Town faithful will hopefully demonstrate their well-known generosity to a marvellous charity.

Grimsby Town have reduced the price of their shirts to £24.99 adults and juniors to £19.99, and the Club will donate £5 per shirt sold to St Andrew's.

MP Austin Mitchell was the first to buy a couple of shirts especially for the occasion, when Paul Groves visited him in his New Cartergate offices to promote the plan. The Grimsby MP is threatening to wear his Town stripes in the House, though whether it will be in a full-blown session of Parliament, we shall have to wait and see!

Fans, and all those wishing to support this venture, can get a sponsorship form from Mike Gresham (01472 350908), or pick one up from the Club Shop.
