Martin Pringle - The Future!

THE Fishy has been talking to Martin Pringle's agent regarding his enforced retirement and his future plans. Pringle was hoping to join a Swedish first division club as assistant coach according to an interview he did in a Swedish newspaper.
Tony Hamilton, who talked to his his agent via email, passed on good wishes on behalf of the Fishy fans and his agent replied saying "Thank you so much. I know it will cheer Martin greatly to hear that "old friends" are not putting him in the 'old news' column.
"Sadly he has had to finally give up the struggle as his leg has told him enough is enough. The tackle he suffered was certainly a bad one and broke his leg, as you know in two places and whilst he has tried everything to come back, he suffers severe pains after each training session and he has had reluctantly to call it a day."
"This a shame as I genuinely felt he still had something to offer and he himself is going to live a long time with a feeling of unfinished business and not having really achieved his real potential.
"As a 32 year old one wonders what he actually will do, but we all must wish this genuinely good human being all the best. "
"I am actually very flattered to hear from him that he is seriously considering linking up with my Company, E.S.P. to act as our man in Sweden, which to my thinking would be very flattering for me, and hopefully some endorsement of the work we do generally to improve the overall lives of players in a world where agents do not, in very many cases, get deservedly good press."
"Paul Groves had asked he return to Grimsby Town upon his recovery which he was actually very happy to do, either on a short term or even permanent basis. I have to say, and this is not being sycophantic that I look concernedly to hope your team will stay up."
"About 18 months ago we very really nearly put Walid Regragui to GTFC, which would have been a great free acquisition for you guys and I spent some time there, but Lennie Lawrence was sacked and the board elected to not strengthen the squad. I do not know if you remember but it was August before last.
"Walid is a 26 year old Moroccan International wide left or right player from midfield or defence. Anyhow he wanted to come and Paul Wilkinson, Lawrence and also the youth team coach all said he was a positive addition. He is now a first team starter in Ajaccio (French D1)."
"The people I met at GTFC were very straight and pleasant and with Martin's connection I have an affinity for your team."
"Our web site, which I would invite you to visit, although not 100% completed yet is: http://www.espmonaco.com in case you want to learn anything about others on our books" (Sylvain Legwinski/ Fulham and Ibrahim Saeed/ Everton as well as a number of continental players who may find themselves in the UK).
"I thought your site was very good indeed, by the way, and again I thank you on behalf of Martin for your kind thoughts and concern."
"With my best regards, and genuinely positive thoughts for Grimsby Town FC for this year (get past this and next year in the upper echelons, past the financial nightmare of the game and maybe things may be more optimistic."
Craig Hutchinson.
