Board Meeting Surprise??

THE directors of Grimsby Town Football Club are reported to be meeting today and one item on the agenda is the situation regarding players whose contracts run out after the end of this season.

Among those players are: Tony Gallimore, John McDermott, Stacey Coldicott, and George Santos.

Santos, on the other hand, may not be easy to sign. He has revived his career at Grimsby and there can be no doubt that other clubs will have witnessed that and he may decide to wait and see if other offers are made to him.

Previously Chairman, Peter Furneaux has indicated that the club will wait until they see which division Town are in before committing the club.

So, if the reports are true, and that item is on the agenda it is somewhat surprising.
