STEVE Chettle is to make his first start since January replacing George Santos who is sidelined due to a groin injury. Mick Boulding is to replace Darren Mansaram up front which indicates Groves will be going 4-5-1 again.

Richard Hughes and Stuart Campbell who were both doubtful will be playing in the game Town must win.

"It's a big game and the players are aware of what's at stake," Groves told the Grimsby Telegraph. "The points that are left on the board are dwindling and the game doesn't need talking up. We don't have to make the players aware of what is at stake."

"People will write us off just like they have done in the past but we will keep believing that we can get ourselves out of trouble. We won't give up until the very end but if we lose that will to win then that's what will become unacceptable."

"We've always said that Michael (Boulding) is a threat. We said that, because of his injury, we'd see more of him as the games went on. But if he plays will he do the full 90 minutes? Because of his levels of fitness that could be a problem."

"But he stretches the game out, gets across people in the box and he invariably gets a chance in a game."
