Santos Back As Squad Recovers!

By: Bill Osborne
Date: 17/04/2003

GEORGES Santos is to return to the Grimsby Town side for the relegation showdown at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday with Paul Groves saying; "Virtually everyone is back in training today and that's a big boost."

Simon Ford, says the Grimsby Telegraph, was the only absentee from training today with a sore Achilles tendon.

It is hoped that Ford will recover in time to join Richard Hughes, Stuart Campbell, Tony Gallimore, Michael Keane and Steve Livingstone who are all back in action. But if Ford misses out Steve Chettle will line up alongside Santos.

A certain Mr Cooke was not mentioned.
