Taylor For The Imps?

By: Bill Osborne
Date: 16/12/2003

EX-England and Grimsby boss Graham Taylor could be set for a shock return as caretaker manager of Lincoln City 26 years after he last managed the club.

The Grimsby Telegraph refer to a report in The Sun that Taylor, who has been out work game after resigning as Aston Villa boss in February, is to return to Sincil Bank as a temporary replacement for Keith Alexander, who is recovering from brain surgery.

Alexanader will not be back at work until at least the end of the season and Lincoln are understood to want Taylor on a short-term basis.
