TOWN caretaker boss Graham Rodger today hit out at the Football League for re-arranging all Town's postponed fixtures within a short space of time. Town are currently in the middle of a run of 7 games in 21 days, which is already severely testing the First Team squad.

"The fixtures that have been arranged for this Football Club this month have been absolutely ridiculous", Rodger told Radio Humberside.

  • Sheffield Wednesday defensive midfielder Craig Armstrong is hoping to have his loan extended at Blundell Park until the end of the season, and possibly afterwards if Town stay up.

  • Phil Jevons was the Fishy Player of the Month for January.

  • Town have extended the loan spell of Rotherham midfielder Nick Daws by a further month.

  • Republic of Congo defender Eugene Kangulungu, who has previously played for French third division side Louhans-Cuiseaux and Plymouth Argyle has joined Grimsby Town on trial.
