Widely popular midfielder with a talented an celebrated football career. Curran will be remembered most by fans of Southampton and Sheffield Wednesday.
Curran' career football starting off at Doncaster Rovers. He then went on to play for Nottingham Forest, Derby County, Southampton, Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United, Everton, Huddersfield Town, Sunderland and then a move to Grimsby Town in the mid-eighties before leaving Town for Chesterfield, which would be his final professional club.
Curran is also the 2nd cousin to my main drinking buddy Mr Al Curran.
