Kevin Drinkell Talks To Us about The Managers Job

One of the names being bandied about regarding the managers position at Grimsby Town is that of Kevin Drinkell. So we sent Jake Olley to have a chat with him to see what his position was.

He told Jake that the job interests him as he feels that he has unfinished business in football management/

When asked if he had any realistic chance of getting the job he said; "It didn't come my way before. They appointed Lennie Lawrence and later Russell Slade."

Kevin said he would not be applying for the job. That does not mean he is not interested.

So the main question was what would Grimsby Town fans expect if you did take over?

Kevin was quite specific in saying that they would see success and a return to a community team.
